How to use free CS2 cheats

Setup guide for Kismit — antivirus exclusions, loading the free CS2 cheat, default binds, and configs. Stuck? Check the FAQ.

// If antivirus flagged the download

Externals that read process memory often trip Defender / browser heuristics. That is a false positive on the download. Pause realtime protection so the file can land, then exclude the install folder permanently.

    Pause realtime protection

    Chrome usually can’t “Keep anyway” — Defender deletes the zip first.

    Windows Security

    1. Open Windows Security
    2. Virus & threat protection
    3. Manage settings
    4. Turn Real-time protection → Off

    Third-party AV (Avast, Norton, Malwarebytes, …): pause Shield / Realtime the same way, or the download still gets removed.

    Download & unzip

    Keep realtime off until the folder exclusion is set.

    1. Download kismit.zip again
    2. Unzip into its own folder, e.g. C:\Kismit\
    3. You should see kismit.exe in that folder

    Add a folder exclusion

    Exclude the whole install folder so updates aren’t quarantined later.

    Windows Security

    1. Virus & threat protection
    2. Manage settings
    3. Scroll to Exclusions
    4. Add or remove exclusions
    5. Add an exclusion → Folder
    6. Select C:\Kismit\ (or whatever folder holds the exe)

    Third-party AV: add that same folder to Exclusions / Allow list / Trusted.

    Turn protection back on

    Realtime can stay on — the folder is excluded.

    1. Turn Real-time protection → On again
    2. Re-enable any third-party shields you paused
  5. 05

    If SmartScreen still blocks the exe

    Blue “Windows protected your PC” dialog.

    1. Run kismit.exe
    2. Click More info
    3. Click Run anyway

Do this in order and you’re ready to go.

    Start CS2

    Wait for the game to fully load.

  2. 02
    Display mode

    Borderless or windowed works best with the overlay. Exclusive fullscreen can force the menu under the game window.

    Attach Kismit 
    .\kismit.exe

    Unzip the download, then run kismit.exe.

    Open the menu

    Press INSERT. Make your config how you like it.

  5. 05
    Start a game

    When ready just start a game and you’re good to go.

  6. 06
    Detach when done

    When finished, press DELETE and the cheat will remove itself from the game without a trace.
